Crispy wood-fired pizza and a scoop of ice-cream for pudding just off the sandy beach in Lyme Regis – the perfect dinner for those ‘I can’t be bothered to cook’ evenings after a trip to the beach.
Poco Pizza is a small restaurant with indoor seating and a great little outdoor covered terrace with the best views. It’s child and dog-friendly (dogs on terrace only), but buggies would be difficult as it’s on the first floor up a narrow staircase. They don’t have high chairs. The menu has plenty of family favourite options, and they’re happy for you to share pizzas if a whole one is too much!
Walk-ins are accepted but in high season it is best to book. If they’ve got no space, you can always order a pizza for takeaway and eat it on the beach – just watch out for dive bombing seagulls!
The nearest parking is at Monmouth car park opposite the Cobb Arms – less than 5 minutes walk.
Opening hours vary from season to season, generally Poco is open for dinner from 5.30pm Monday to Friday, and lunch and dinner on a Saturday. Closed on Sundays. Check current opening times here.
